This gear cover is machined from tough 7075 high-end alloy for maximum rigidity with a brilliant anodized finish and logo is made by CNC technique
This new gear cover is made by GPM for Traxxas XRT and XMAXX, it keeps the original design but adding an extension groove to accommodate an extra bearing or larger bearing size. As you may know the original fixation of two bearings can easily crack or may ocurr shaft bending deformation. This new design allows you to achieve fixation of three bearings and enhance the shaft stability. Can be used on stock X-Maxx and XRT.
"Optional upgrades for a 4 bearing solution:
1. Can be used with TXM8035/TR-BK for a 4 bearing solution using stock spur and stock cush drive gear.
2. Combined with XRT033TS and XRT035TS large gear sets (Mod 1.5) from GPM Racing will allow you a four bearings fixation to enhance the upgrade strength.
We increase the diameter of the bearing housing which allows to install a larger bearing (8x19x6mm) with 8mm shaft, making it more sturdy and durable."
